Recruitment Requirements
In order to be considered for a bid, rushes must complete the following requirements.
Events
Rushes must attend at least three (3) rush events, one of each pillar, for at least one (1) hour each.
Interviews
Rushes must complete three (3) brother interviews with a maximum of two (2) interviews per rush event.
Academics
Rushes must be enrolled as a full-time, undergraduate student at Rutgers University NB, have completed at least twelve (12) college credits, and have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50.
New Member Requirements
If a rush accepts their bid to become a new member, the following requirements must be completed by the end of the new member process to become a full brother of Alpha Phi Omega.
Service
New members must complete at least twenty (20) service hours with at least one (1) hour in each pillar (Fraternity, Campus, Community, Nation) and attend their New Member Class Service Event.
Leadership
New members must complete four (4) Leadership Credits, attend their New Member Class Leadership Event, and have a resume and full LinkedIn profile with fifty (50) connections.
Fellowship
New members must attend four (4) Fellowship Events, at least two (2) Big/Little Events, and their New Member Class Fellowship Event.
Meetings
New members must attend all Brotherhood and New Member meetings.
Interviews
New members must complete twenty-two (22) brother interviews and also interview their entire new member class.
Additional Requirements
New members must complete two (2) Interchapter Credits, four (4) Study Hours, and attend at least one RUDM event. They must also complete the OFSA New Member Orientation modules, attend New Member Retreat, and complete their New Member Project.
